We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Key Stage 3 and 4 setting.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a positive impact in the lives of students with SEN. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to implement individualised support plans, facilitate engaging learning activities, and provide one-on-one assistance to students in the classroom.
Responsibilities:- Prepare resources and activities for 1:1 support tailored to the child's needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers/Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to organise appropriate activities.
- Liaise with other professionals, such as teachers, teaching assistants, and specialist support staff.
- Work closely with other Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and support staff.
- Monitor and track the development of the pupil in question and support personal development and confidence.
- Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
- Ability to engage with and build rapport with students.
- Be creative, proactive, and flexible in their supporting style.
- Have experience with SEN or knowledge of learning difficulties.
- Teaching Assistant qualified.
- Dedicated consultants with experience in education.
- Competitive rates of pay, paid weekly, which are fully compliant under the AWR 2011.
