Our client, a leading private equity firm, is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its internal fund finance team. As a key member of the management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the firm's financial performance and ensuring the effective management of its funds.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund finance, with experience in managing teams and developing financial systems. They will be responsible for:


  • Leading the fund finance team: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of qualified professionals, including fund controllers, fund accountants, and junior support staff.
  • Managing relationships with fund administrators: The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with fund administrators, ensuring that all financial transactions are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Developing a best-in-class fund finance platform: The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and implementing new systems to ensure that the firm's fund finance operations are best-in-class.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of financial reports: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the team delivers high-quality financial reports on time, including quarterly investor reports, partner statements, capital calls, and distribution notices.
  • Assisting with deal execution: The successful candidate will work closely with the investment team to ensure that all financial aspects of deal execution are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Leading the setup of new fund vehicles: The candidate will be responsible for leading the setup of new fund vehicles, ensuring that all financial systems and processes are in place.


The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong background in fund finance. They will have experience working in a private equity or private credit firm in London and will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering high-quality financial results.
