The successful applicant will be working for a pioneering organisation at the forefront of designing and developing secure submarine platforms for the Royal Navy fleet.



Job Description

This challenging role involves ensuring that submarine systems and products are developed with security and resilience in mind.



Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and Building Secure Systems: The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, integrating, and providing ongoing support for complex systems.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Strong background in risk assessment and management following industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Security Baselines and Controls: Extensive experience in applying security baselines, mitigations, and controls.
  • Product Security Experience: Background in Product Security, particularly in the defence, maritime, or related sectors.
  • MOD Policies and Regulations: Familiarity with MOD policies and regulations like SPF, JSP 440, and JSP 604, along with experience in producing RMADS.
  • Operational Technologies and Control Systems: Understanding of the security challenges related to Operational Technologies and Control Systems, and how to address them.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant STEM field or Information Security.
  • Industry-recognised security certifications like CCP, CISSP, or CISM, or the ability to obtain them.
