About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Radiographer to lead our CT team at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our CT service, managing and supporting our band 5 Radiographers and students, and promoting education and training within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the band 5 Radiographers and students
- Ensure the smooth operation of the CT service
- Promote education and training within the department
- Keep up to date competency records
- Actively participate in CPD
- Provide a 24/7 service to support the hospital
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a BSc in Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers, be HCPC registered, and have relevant post-registration experience in a specialist area. You will also need to demonstrate empathy, tact, and understanding of patients' clinical and emotional situations.
