Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert to join our team at Emotiv Technical Recruitment. As a Chassis Design Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Vehicle Teams in the design and development of our premium product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development Support: Collaborate with Vehicle Teams to design and develop chassis systems, ensuring robustness and efficient test validation.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to Junior Engineers, ensuring a consistent approach to chassis design.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve design procedures, best practices, and efficiency improvements to advance our design capabilities.
  • Review and Approval: Review and approve technical reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest developments and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Project Support: Assist with projects as required by your manager and undertake ad-hoc duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in designing parts for chassis systems, with a strong understanding of ergonomics and fabrications.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to rapidly adapt to new areas and understand complex issues.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to condense complex issues into easy-to-understand key points.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchase Departments.
