Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate leader to join our team as Assistant Head (Pastoral). As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading our pastoral team, overseeing behaviour and inclusion, and driving school improvement plans. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement policies that promote student wellbeing and academic achievement.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the pastoral team to ensure effective support and guidance for students
  • Overseeing behaviour and inclusion to create a positive and respectful school culture
  • Driving school improvement plans to enhance student outcomes and experiences


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal, leadership, and management skills, integrity, and the ability to inspire trust and confidence. You will have experience of working in a similar role and be familiar with current best practices in pastoral care and school leadership.



What We Offer: A competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.
