Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Field Support Technician to join our team. As a Field Support Technician, you will be responsible for investigating and documenting the condition of vessels or quality concerns on behalf of the business. You will also undertake rectification works authorized by the business both in the UK and overseas.

You will represent the business in a professional and courteous manner at all times, being respectful of customers, their yacht(s), and the circumstances that require intervention by Princess Yachts Limited.

Main Goals and Objectives

  • Investigate and document vessel conditions or quality concerns.
  • Undertake rectification works authorized by the business.

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Carry out high-quality works in line with GWI and best practice.
  • Be respectful of the yacht, ensuring access routes and working areas are fully protected prior to works commencing.
  • Ensure that all waste is disposed of in accordance with local regulations and that the yacht is cleaned prior to sign-off.
  • Liaise with Distributors and PYL colleagues to determine the scope of works and deliver Fix First Time.
  • Work onboard yachts in marinas, shipyards, or private residences.
  • Travel for extended periods of time and work out of hours to complete jobs in agreed timeframes.
  • Travel at short notice.

Requirements

  • Grade 7 or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and familiarity with:
    • Princess Model range.
    • Princess Build Standards & Processes.
    • Electrical and Mechanical systems installed on Princess craft.
    • GRP & Carpentry processes.
