We are seeking a skilled Residential Real Estate Surveyor to join our Asset & Property Services team at Longhurst Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately collect data on the condition, performance, safety, and energy efficiency of our homes.
  • Identify and report building defects, ensuring timely resolutions through liaison with internal and external teams.
  • Conduct Decent Homes and HHSRS (Housing Health & Safety Rating System) assessments as part of your surveys.
  • Continuously improve the quality of our data, ensuring it meets regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Schedule and plan your diary to optimize productivity and deliver an effective, customer-focused service.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of building regulations and practices.
  • Previous experience inspecting homes and assessing their lifespan and quality.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to efficiently collect and report data.
