Key Responsibilities:

  • Work proactively within a multi-disciplinary environment to deliver project management leadership on major opportunities.
  • Lead and support business development and work winning/bidding within the local Birmingham and West Midlands markets.
  • Successful delivery of projects to a high level of quality and client satisfaction acting as Lead Consultant/Design Manager.
  • Identify opportunities and support the development of winning bids for projects in the government, education, and related sectors - both single discipline and multi-disciplinary.
  • Demonstrate a track record and familiarity with commercial, residential, and local government sector clients in Birmingham and the Midlands.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Manage and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to drive growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills, with a proven ability to win and deliver projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and managing projects in a BIM environment.
  • Practical working knowledge of SketchUp or other similar software package.
  • Practical working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other similar software package.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
