Job Description

Job Title: First Line Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced First Line Manager to join our team at People Solutions. As a First Line Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operation within your area of responsibility, ensuring the efficient and effective provision of a quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
  • Ensure the operation achieves all daily, weekly and monthly targets and KPI's, resulting in high performance levels
  • Manage a team of direct line reports, including delivering team member performance review, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
  • Actively promote, take responsibility for embedding a culture of employee engagement within the team
  • Ensure compliance to Warehouse, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and safe systems of work
  • Utilise continuous improvement tools and techniques and support team members in their application

Requirements:

  • A commitment to self-development and team development
  • Awareness of health, safety and environmental standards
  • Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service
  • Flexible and committed to achieving team/site objectives

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience of managing and leading a team

  • Good IT skills with skills in Microsoft Office and / or Google Suites
