We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused driver to join our team at StaffCo Direct, working with a leading home delivery company. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our client's day-to-day operations.
The Role:
This is a customer-centric role that requires excellent service skills, as you will be working as part of a 2-man home delivery team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely and safe deliveries, handling customer interactions, and maintaining a high level of presentation and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide excellent customer service and handle customer queries
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
- Ensure a high level of presentation and professionalism at all times
What We Offer:
We use an umbrella company and offer a competitive hourly rate of £18.55-£19.88 (enhanced rates for Sunday and Bank holidays). You will be rotated between 5 days a week, with an average shift length of 12 hours. Start times are around 06:00.
Requirements:
- Valid 7.5 tonne licence, held for over 1 year
- Current and valid CPC and DIGI TACHO
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Excellent level of English
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Hardworking and good timekeeping
- Customer care focused and well-presented
- Physically fit
