Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Specialist to join our team at Veritas Education Recruitment. As a Childcare Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of education and care for children aged 0-5 years.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with the nursery team to support children's development, ensuring that their individual needs are met and their next steps in learning are implemented effectively.
  • As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality care and education, supporting children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • You will implement next steps provision to encourage learning and progression, maintaining correct child-to-staff ratios and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.

Requirements

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent is required.
  • Proven practical nursery experience, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Confidence in implementing safeguarding policies and adhering to staff ratios.
  • Ability to implement next steps provision to support each child's development.
