Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Aspire Training Team
Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
The successful candidate will work in a home-from-home environment, enabling children to learn and develop through play and interaction.
Carmela Coady Childcare strives to provide a safe, stimulating, and fun environment where children can reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, hardworking, and willing to learn, with great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Your Duties as an Apprentice:
- Participate in the day-to-day running of the setting
- Plan and assist with setting up activities for the children
- Observe children and assist on days out
- Gain practical experience throughout the apprenticeship
- Ensure the setting is clean and tidy at all times
- Assist with checks around the setting
- Keep up to date with coursework
- Assist children with bathroom tasks and changing nappies
Hours:
- Carmela Coady Childcare is open from 7:30am to 18:00pm, Monday to Friday
- The successful candidate will work up to 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
Qualities Required:
- The ideal candidate will be flexible, hardworking, and willing to learn, with great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A good understanding of the EYFS and experience of looking after children would be preferred
Requirements:
- GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 in English Language and maths, or equivalent
- Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired
