Job Title: Bespoke Engineering Solutions Manager

Location: Near Farnborough, Hampshire

Estimated Salary:£52k - £72k + Bonus + Excellent Benefits including hybrid working

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Gerrell & Hard. As a key member of our engineering delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke engineering solutions to customers on time, on budget, and to specification.

You will work closely with our internal departments and external customers to ensure seamless project delivery, complying with required standards and observing customer-specific documentation and communication needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team, develop your skills, and take ownership of projects from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bespoke engineering solutions to customers on time, on budget, and to specification
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external customers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Comply with required standards and observe customer-specific documentation and communication needs
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven project management expertise and experience involving direct customer liaison and internal departmental coordination/delivery
  • Proven ability to deliver results through others
  • Proven experience of liaising directly with customers and delivering the highest possible levels of customer service
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills, especially work scheduling, prioritizing, and multi-tasking
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
  • Ability to work well with others

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Degree-level BSc/BEng or equivalent in Engineering or a similar discipline
  • APM PMQ, PRINCE 2, or similar project management certification
