About the Role

This role is ideal for registered Nurses or Paramedics looking for a better work-life balance while continuing to deliver outstanding patient care. As a Clinical Advisor, you will be responsible for assessing patients with a wide range of clinical conditions, advising on home care management, and referring them to further care when necessary.

The NHS Pathways system will facilitate and support the advice given, and you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to offer high-quality, evidence-based healthcare to the immediate needs of the patient. A commitment to excellence in clinical practice and continuous professional development is integral to this role.

Salary: £38,890 - £43,041 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients with various clinical conditions over the phone
  • Provide guidance on home care management and refer patients to further care when necessary
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Post-registration training and experience in at least two healthcare settings or specialties relevant to profession
  • Ability to commit to 8 weeks of full-time training
  • Willingness to work within a rolling rota pattern covering our 24-hour operational period
