Job Title: Child Health Nurse Leader

We are seeking an experienced Child Health Nurse Leader to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating the workforce and day-to-day management of our Knightstone Ward, Pre-operative Assessment, and Orthopaedic Outpatients Department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimize departmental performance
Requirements:
  • Current NMC/HCPC registration
  • RN/RN (child)/AHP qualification
  • Degree in nursing or health-related topic or relevant evidence of study at degree level
  • Evidence of Masters-level academic study or willingness to work towards Masters (in relevant health-related subject)
  • Qualification in Teaching, Assessing, and Mentoring
Desirable:
  • Leadership qualification
