Kitchen Assistant Role

We are looking for a reliable part-time kitchen assistant to join our team at The Anchorage Care Home.
Expected working hours: 9am to 3pm and 5pm to 7.30pm, totaling 8.5 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include assisting with supper preparation, supporting care staff with collecting or delivering supper trays, and cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in supper preparation as required.
- Support care staff with collecting or delivering supper trays from rooms.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, bins, fridges, freezers, store cupboards, ovens, and other appliances.
- Wash, wipe, and dry dining room tablecloths, napkins, and place settings.
- Clear the dining room of dirty dishes and utensils.
- Perform washing up duties and put away clean items.
- Sweep and mop the kitchen floor.
- Free parking available.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a part-time position working in person at The Anchorage Care Home.
Compensation:The hourly rate for this position is £11.44 per hour.
