Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team at SelectStaff Recruitment. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to the Company Secretary and Pension Trustee, ensuring the effective delivery of the Pension and Group Life arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Company Secretary and Pension Trustee, including managing queries and ensuring the smooth administration of the Pension and Group Life arrangements.
  • Liaise with external parties, including professional services, to ensure the effective delivery of the Pension and Group Life arrangements.
  • Respond to and manage enquiries from Participating Employers, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist in the reporting requirements to regulatory bodies, including Companies House, The Pension Regulator, and The Pension Protection Fund.
  • Maintain and edit the pensions website, ensuring relevant information is available to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection legal requirements and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Schedule and coordinate legal documents and meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business processes.
  • Good understanding of regulatory processes and requirements, including those of the Pensions Regulator, Charity Commission, Companies House, and Housing Regulator.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Arrangements:

The role is home-based, with occasional meetings with the Company Secretary required. The successful candidate will be expected to work 5-3 days per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
