Job Description

The Role of a Care Professional

As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you will play a vital role in supporting clients in the community to live and remain in their own home. This requires a willingness to travel around the Rotherham borough and commit to working a combination of shift times, including alternative weekends and bank holidays.

You will support clients with:

  • Personal care tasks
  • Medication
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • General companionship and wellbeing
  • Taking clients to medical appointments

Previous experience in care is not necessary, as our award-winning training will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver high-quality care to our clients. We also offer continuous management/training support and extra specialist training.
