Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Mechanical Plant Fitter to join our client's team in Yorkshire.

About the Role
  • Responding to plant breakdowns and ensuring assets are returned to production in a timely manner is key to this role.
  • The successful candidate will undertake emergency breakdown repairs on all production equipment.
  • Owning small-scale projects and delivering them in a pragmatic and proactive manner is also essential.
  • Maintaining and promoting Health & Safety rules and regulations is crucial to success.
Requirements
  • A recognized apprenticeship (higher-level standard preferred) is required for this position.
  • Practical mechanical systems experience in industrial, agricultural, or similar environments is necessary.
  • Strong background in heavy industry systems like conveyors, drive systems, motors, belts, pumps, gearboxes, and crushers is essential.
  • Fault-finding ability with a proactive approach to repairs is vital.
