Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Centre Administrator to join our team at Acorn Training. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the reception area, including welcoming visitors and updating sign-in sheets
  • Process company correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and packages
  • Accurately process travel and participant expenses
  • Organize meetings, schedule appointments, and manage centre rooms
  • Oversee catering during company events and accurately record expenses
  • Perform data entry roles, including updating records and databases
  • Communicate with staff for course referrals and enrolments
  • Manage petty cash and reconcile accounts
  • Act as Fire Warden and First Aid responder, with training provided
  • Support the team to achieve their objectives in a busy office
Requirements
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics A-C/9-4 (essential)
  • NVQ Level 2 in customer service (desirable)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Administration (desirable)
  • IT qualification (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a public-facing role (essential)
  • Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook (essential)
