**Electrical Shift Engineer Opportunity:**

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. This is a varied role that involves undertaking electrical repairs and fault finding on production machinery, as well as undertaking PPM and reactive maintenance.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with experience working on production equipment. You will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other departments.

Salary: £39,000-£39,500 + Progression + Overtime

Location: Port Talbot

About the Job:

This is a challenging but rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment, as well as contributing to the improvement of existing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake electrical repairs and fault finding on production machinery
  • PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Electrical/Mechanical split (70/30)
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members and other departments
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education in electrical engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical maintenance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts
