Neurological Care Specialist

As a specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in our Community Neuro Rehab Service, working closely with patients and families to identify and address their needs.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and proactive team, contributing to the development of comprehensive assessments and rehabilitation programmes that support patients to achieve their goals. You will be expected to work collaboratively within the integrated therapy team and multi-disciplinary team, sharing your expertise and facilitating effective communication and goal-setting.
A strong understanding of government policy and current practice in occupational therapy is essential, as well as experience working in the acute hospital and community setting. You will be required to hold a current driving licence and car owner with insurance for business use.
The estimated salary for this role is approximately £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver rehabilitation programmes that support patients to achieve their goals.
- Participate actively in our weekly MDT meeting, linking with therapists from other disciplines.
- Provide support and training to our Band 5 Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and Therapy Assistants.
