Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Transport Team Leader to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of drivers and ensuring the efficient and effective management of the milk collection operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of drivers operating Bulk Farm collection and Bulk Tanker delivery vehicles.
  • Ensure daily activity aligns with the business plan, legal compliance, and health & safety.
  • Plan and organize the shift to ensure efficient and effective management of the milk collection operation.
  • Participate in route planning using systems such as Verilocation, Opitool.
  • Manage team performance, training, development, and absence management.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing a team of drivers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Transport Manager National CPC qualification or willingness to gain the qualification.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking leadership skills.
  • Ability to deliver accurate results under tight time constraints.
