Job Summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking an experienced and dynamic manager to oversee their LGV Test Centre. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a workshop servicing or repairing LGVs, PCVs, and Light Commercial Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation of the test centre and workshop, focusing on efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement business development and sales strategies.
  • Manage budgets and costs, ensuring effective financial control.
  • Enforce health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, ensuring effective fleet maintenance.
  • Plan and schedule workloads, including ATF lane operations.
  • Collaborate with the DVSA to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing on parts.
  • Ensure effective operation of invoicing systems.

About You
  • The successful candidate must have experience in a similar role, with relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or time-served in the LGV repair and maintenance industry.
  • A LGV Class 1 Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
  • We are looking for an individual with flexibility, adaptability, and strong team leadership skills.
