About the Physiotherapist Role

This is a unique opportunity for a physiotherapist to utilize their clinical skills in a different way, helping people move forward with their lives. As a physiotherapist functional assessor, you will carry out assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather information about a person's condition and its impact on their daily life.
  • Use your clinical knowledge and skills to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine eligibility for benefits.
  • Work with a diverse range of customers, handling challenging situations and developing your clinical knowledge and assessment skills.
