Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager Product to join our team at the Department of Work & Pensions. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in delivering finance process convergence and the design, testing, and deployment of the new Synergy ERP system and related services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong finance background with a functional understanding of the interdependencies across different finance processes. You will have experience of managing or working with ERP systems, with a good understanding of how finance master data supports and enables cross-functional services and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Streamline procurement to drive out error, waste, and duplication
  • Manage stakeholders and lead change initiatives
  • Design, test, and deploy the new Synergy ERP system and related services
  • Implement complex change and transition programs across multiple organizations
  • Lead Cloud Finance Design and/or Transformation at scale
  • Manage risks and interdependencies across teams in a multi-disciplinary environment

Requirements

  • Strong finance background with functional understanding of interdependencies across finance processes
  • Experience of managing or working with ERP systems
  • Good understanding of how finance master data supports and enables cross-functional services and reporting
  • Experience of implementing or migrating ERP platforms like Oracle eBusiness suite
  • Ability to work with analytical evaluation teams to interpret complex and conflicting data
  • Experience of scoping, designing, and implementing complex change and transition programs
  • Understanding of the Cloud ERP market and capability of potential systems
