About the Role



This role is part of our ground handling team, working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities.



Main Responsibilities



As a Transport Support Assistant, you will be responsible for the primary security checks of airline equipment, ensuring compliance with CAA and DfT regulations. You will also be required to carry out vehicle security searches and load airline food and catering supplies into delivery trucks.



Additionally, you will need to ensure drivers are provided with all catering components for each flight on time, assist in the catering and de-catering of aircraft, and ensure all catering and de-catering is completed on time following current SLA's.



Communication is key in this role, as you will be working with colleagues and customers to resolve any issues that may arise. Your ability to multitask and work under pressure will be essential in meeting deadlines and ensuring production and off Dock schedules are met.



Requirements

Additionally, you will need to adhere to clean as you go standards, adhere to COVID-19 measures, and interact with colleagues, customers, and clients in a professional manner at all times.
