We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Stroke Ward of University Hospital Wishaw.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse to provide high-quality care to patients and contribute to the development of effective care programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, designing and implementing individualized care plans, and supervising staff as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient care needs and develop tailored care plans
  • Provide direct patient care without supervision, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures
  • Supervise registered and unregistered staff, as well as student nurses, to ensure seamless delivery of care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid UK NMC registration
  • Educated to degree level or completed relevant post-registration courses
  • Previous experience in a Registered Nursing position
  • A full UK driving license
