We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counsellor/Play Therapist to join our Central Team at Minerva Learning Trust. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Director of School Improvement-Inclusion and school leaders to deliver a high-quality counselling service to children experiencing emotional, social, and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide targeted counselling support to vulnerable young people and their families in one-to-one and small group settings.
- Work closely with school leaders to develop and implement effective counselling strategies.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting students' mental health and wellbeing.
- Deliver training and support to colleagues to enhance their understanding of mental health and wellbeing.
- Post-graduate Diploma or Master's level qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
- Accreditation or registration with a recognised awarding body (BACP, UKCP etc).
- Proven experience of providing counselling support to vulnerable young people and their families.
