About the Role

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial accounts of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and fostering strong client relationships. In this role, you will work within a well-established team, providing high-quality accounting and financial services to our diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of quarterly, monthly and yearly Statutory accounts, Management accounts, Corporation Tax, VAT and Personal Tax
  • Work and liaise with other members of the team as necessary to provide high-quality client support
  • Train and coach Trainee Accountants, and support and review their work
  • Ensure client work complies with all legal and ethical standards and statutory regulations
  • The role can be tailored depending on Practice experience

Requirements

  • ACCA/ ACA professional qualification
  • Wide range of Tax experience
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and application of current UK accounting standards, tax legislation, technical issues and related matters, and updates team on new developments and standards
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and ability to learn and use bookkeeping packages such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc.
