Job Title: HPC Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled HPC Applications Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure and Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing automated project solutions, supporting daily ticket systems for common technical issues, and being a core resource for high-visibility projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with technical leads, technical managers, project managers, and engineering teams across Infrastructure and Engineering teams to provide automated project solutions.
  • Support daily ticket systems for common technical issues and be a core resource for high-visibility projects.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and maintain high-performance computing environments.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate common tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to engineering user communities and ensure the security, resilience, and reliability of our services.
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years of experience in HPC, cloud computing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Linux OS fundamentals, HPC infrastructure, and applications.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Strong scripting skills, including Bash, Shell, Python, and Perl.
  • Experience with HPC workload management tools, such as IBM Spectrum LSF.
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Automation.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Artifactory, and/or Continuous Integration (CI) applications.
  • Knowledge of HPC applications, such as Flex-based Licenses and EDA tools.
