**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join our transformation programme or project change team. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing requirement analysis, modelling, and testing of product calculations and the actuarial process. You will work independently on small-scale, low-to-medium complexity calculation and data models or with direction from experienced team members on large-scale transformation.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Apply data analysis methods and techniques to investigate and validate complex calculation models
* Interpret actuarial and product information to ensure accuracy of calculations
* Responsible for the analysis, identification, and collation of static data required for calculations
* Responsible for the specification of Expected Results (ERs)
* Responsible for the specification of test conditions to test calculations
* Execute testing using appropriate test tools and methodology
* Own the resolution of issues and liaise with actuarial, IT developers, product experts, TCS BaNCS, and clients to drive solution outcomes
* Identify and suggest improvements to standards, processes, controls, and tools to increase productivity and efficiency of delivery of ERs

**Requirements**

* Degree in Mathematics or similar numerate subject working towards IFoA qualification exams
* Proficient in use of MS Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse vast quantities of data under time constraints
* Systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving
* Business knowledge - Broad awareness of the Financial Services industry and the regulatory environment
* Previous experience working on projects/change initiatives
