About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the production of state-of-the-art products that enhance global security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality manufacturing operations and collaborating with design authorities to optimize Design for Manufacture (DfM).
Key Responsibilities
- Certify products in line with product certification procedures.
- Support industrial validation process through the use of FMEA's, process proving activities, etc.
- Support non-conformance process.
- Liaise with design authority to ensure optimised Design for Manufacture (DfM).
- Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits.
- Apply a versatile skill set across a variety of tasks.
- Operate all equipment, tools, and measuring implements associated with the manufacturing cycle.
- Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and test times are met.
- Complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack accurately.
- Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and product quality.
- Comply with all procedures related to the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to good housekeeping policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent academic qualifications.
- Proven ability to certify products and apply a wide range of skills using various tools and instruments.
- Strong team player with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment.
