Architectural Assistant

Cube is seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join our Islington Office. As a multidisciplinary company, we're looking for a recent University leaver or recently qualified Architect who can make an immediate start.

The role will involve working on a variety of retail and commercial projects, where you'll be expected to get involved in all stages of these projects and gain client-facing and site experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing architectural and fit-out designs, including technical details.
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications.
  • Visiting sites to undertake surveys and assessing site progress.
  • Resolving queries from consultants and contractors.
  • Assisting the Director and Account Lead.

Your key skills requirements include:

  • A RIBA Part I and Part II qualification and minimum two years' office experience.
  • Accurate and confident communication skills.
  • Full working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Excellent technical and construction detailing, with proven experience of the building regulations.
  • Ability to manage workload in a timely manner, with thorough attention to detail.
