We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Yard Operator to join our team at Brenntag. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our depots.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Carry out manual handling and yard duties, including chemical filling and storage, to ensure compliance with legislation and operational requirements.
- Operate Fork Lift and REACH Truck equipment as required to support the efficient movement of goods.
- Offload tankers into bulk tanks or IBCs and load/unload IDN trailers into the warehouse.
- Maintain and operate the Warehouse facility, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Contribute to the safe handling, filling, and storage of chemical products, adhering to all relevant legislation and operational procedures.
- Pick and check vehicle loads to confirm match customer orders.
- Load vehicles with supplies and ensure safe handling and dispatch in accordance with operational procedures.
- Build loads to meet customer orders, utilizing manual handling and fork-lifted pallets as required.
- Contribute to the safe and efficient running of the yard and warehouse, undertaking any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by your line manager.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong focus on safety and operational efficiency. You will also have a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
