Senior Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the financial management of the Trust, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in preparing management accounts, budget setting, and financial analysis. They will also have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex financial issues to both finance and non-finance audiences.
The successful candidate will be a key member of our finance team, working closely with senior budget holders to ensure the delivery of the Trust's financial plan. They will also be responsible for providing financial advice and guidance to the Trust's leadership team.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about financial management and has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports for the Trust
- Develop and manage budgets for the Trust
- Provide financial advice and guidance to senior budget holders
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting
- Work closely with the Trust's leadership team to deliver the financial plan
Requirements
- CCAB, CIMA qualification (full member of a Professional Accounting Institute), or demonstrable, evidenced experience of successfully performing a substantially similar role.
- Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and on own initiative
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
