Radiologist with Urology Focus

We are seeking a motivated radiologist to join our team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Diagnostic Radiology Service, including CT, MRI, Plain Film, NM, and Ultrasound. An interest in Urology imaging and Interventional Radiology procedures is essential.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of general principles, scientific method, and interpretation of literature. They will also have evidence of organisational ability, leadership, and credibility. A sympathetic approach to patients and relatives is also essential.
The role offers a challenging and fast-paced environment with a strong support ethic. We can offer and encourage learning and training opportunities to expand your skillset. Our team consists of 18 general radiologists with various subspecialties, including breast, upper/lower GI, musculoskeletal, urology, paediatrics, and more.
Main Duties- Provision of all aspects of a Diagnostic Radiology Service at Blackpool Teaching Hospital
- Responsibility for CT, MRI, Plain Film, NM, and Ultrasound
- Interest in Urology imaging and Interventional Radiology procedures
