Academic Economist

The Economicsnetwork is seeking an accomplished Academic Economist to join our team of academics.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health Economist to contribute to teaching and research within the School of Health and Society.

In this position, you will be responsible for teaching Economics and conducting research in Public Health, applying Health Economics to public health scenarios. You will also work across disciplines to support Health Economics teaching and research.

• Teach Economics courses to undergraduate, postgraduate, and post-qualifying students
• Conduct research in Public Health, applying Health Economics to real-world scenarios
• Work with colleagues to develop and implement Health Economics curriculum

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
• Experience in teaching and research in Health Economics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
