Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant looking for a flexible role in the UK? We have a number of exciting opportunities available in primary and secondary schools in Bristol, working with a range of students and supporting their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
  • Provide support to students with special needs, including working with individuals on the autism spectrum
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed
  • Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, setting up learning centres, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children learn and grow
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual students
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care
