Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician - Plant and Horticultural

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of our plant and horticultural vehicle fleet.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a recognized apprenticeship in motor vehicle engineering to NVQ level 3 or equivalent. A category B driving licence is essential, and a category C LGV licence or valid MOT tester qualification is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of plant and horticultural vehicles
  • Working in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve efficient and effective maintenance
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
