Shipping Coordinator

Airedale by Modine is seeking a highly skilled Shipping Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient shipping of export orders to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the shipping of export orders, including negotiating freight rates with forwarders and agents.
- Liaise with internal departments, including Sales, Spares Order Processing, Accounts, International Sales, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality Control, and packing.
- Ensure compliance with current legislation for export shipments and deal with local Chamber of Commerce for certification and legalization requirements.
- Provide cover for the UK Shipping Administrator in the event of absence.
Requirements:
- Experience in export shipping, preferably with Incoterms knowledge.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
