About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Risk and Continuity Manager to join our Group IT Assurance, Risk and Continuity team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert audit advice to improve control effectiveness and efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive audits and investigations, reporting findings, assessing risks, and ensuring corrective actions.
- Developing, testing, and managing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical information systems.
- Guiding the creation and maintenance of standards, procedures, and quality processes.
- Overseeing project deliverables, ensuring compliance with business continuity needs.
- Leading and motivating teams, allocating responsibilities, monitoring performance, and ensuring quality delivery.
- Analysing audit outcomes and recommending improvements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience applying standards, practices, codes, and assessment and certification programmes relevant to the IT industry. You should also be experienced in methods and techniques for risk assessment, business impact analysis, establishment of countermeasures and contingency arrangements relating to the serious disruption of IT services as well as the assessment and management of business risk including safety-related risk.

Salary
The salary for this role is estimated at £60,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
