Chief Housing Strategist

At Ackerman Pierce Ltd, we are seeking a Chief Housing Strategist to oversee the management and leadership of our Housing Solutions Service. This role involves providing strategic direction to meet the statutory requirements of the Homelessness Reduction Act and other housing legislation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as a Chief Housing Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the teams delivering the Housing Solutions Service. You will promote understanding of and adherence to the Council's values and behaviours by designing appropriate structures to deliver high quality, resident-focused services.

• You will obtain and maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct in line with the expectations of a local government office and lead staff to adhere to such standards to uphold the Council's reputation.
• You will provide leadership to the multi-disciplinary teams that deliver homelessness advice, prevention, relief, and temporary accommodation, ensuring high quality customer-focused services.
• You will transform front-line housing services to meet the new housing duties outlined in the Homelessness Reduction Act and other housing legislation and statutory instruments.

We estimate the salary for this role to be £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. A weekly payment service and 1-2-1 account manager are also available during your time with us. We will pay for your DBS if we place you and keep it up to date during your time with us.
