Join Our Team as a Senior Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Auditor to join our team at the National Audit Office. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in leading and delivering audit engagements, working closely with government departments and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of public funds.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of financial audit procedures, with an interest in public sector audit. Experience of auditing companies and charities is also desirable. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and delivering audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with government departments and other stakeholders
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in audit processes and procedures
