About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to balance technical expertise with leadership, contributing to projects that require a combination of technical excellence and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industry leader and disruptor, combining technical excellence with sustainability to deliver state-of-the-art solutions. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will lead the production of system architecture, detailed specifications, and work schedules for complex engineering systems, oversee design teams across disciplines, manage the production of high-quality CAD drawings, and conduct engineering calculations and data analysis to solve complex technical problems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a Level 5 NVQ, HND, or degree in engineering, science, or mathematics, preferably with Chartered status, 5-10 years of experience in an engineering environment, with exposure to fieldwork, design, or related roles, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, a strong analytical mindset, a natural leader with flexibility, tenacity, and a methodical approach to problem-solving, and proven ability to manage diverse systems and engineering processes while maintaining attention to detail.
