Product Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Assurance Engineer to join our team at Premier Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products throughout the entire product life cycle.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality and product assurance responsibilities within the engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Manage quality throughout the entire product life cycle.
  • Check appropriate documentation and procedures for product, processes, and data.
  • Provide support to the design team on best practices to ensure quality.
  • Liaise with the Management Systems Manager and Process Owners, advising on where Product Assurance can be improved.

Requirements:

  • Qualified in a relevant Engineering or Manufacturing Degree with time served as an Engineer.
  • Working experience of a Quality or Product Assurance position.
  • Previous experience working with High Quality manufacturing environment (aerospace, defence, satellite, space or similar).
  • Good knowledge of product compliance, regulatory compliance, and other similar procedures.
  • Ability to communicate with other members of staff and management.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as team.
  • Experience in a project-led design environment – beneficial.
  • Experience with electronics manufacturing and design – advantageous but not essential.
