Career Guidance Specialist
- Reports to: Careers Team Leader
- Location: Newbury
- Salary: £28,000 FTE
- Type: Part-time (3 days a week)
Dovetail and Slate Ltd is seeking a skilled Career Guidance Specialist to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent career guidance, counselling, and information to students.
Main Responsibilities
- Offering career guidance and counselling to students
- Managing career resources in collaboration with the Employer Services team
- Researching and sharing reports on local and national job opportunities and market trends
- Providing drop-in and appointment-based career support services for students
- Training staff on university applications, employability skills, and current career information and advice
- Organizing workshops on apprenticeship career paths
Requirements
- Able to start immediately
- Experience working in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- Commitment to improving the lives of young people
- Able to pass a DBS check
- No previous convictions
