We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Architect Lead to spearhead the development and operation of critical technologies for The Wine Flyer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining Ecommerce applications using modern technologies such as NodeJS, Auth, and microservices architecture. They will also have experience with the AWS ecosystem, including services like API Gateway, Redis, and ECS (Elastic Container Service).

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and integrating APIs, collaborating with stakeholders, defining technology standards, and proactively addressing cybersecurity risks. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our platforms support the success of our commercial and operational teams.

As an AWS Cloud Architect Lead, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation in every aspect of our business. You will work closely with our team to build and maintain Ecommerce applications, design and integrate APIs, and ensure the security and scalability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bulk and maintain Ecommerce applications using modern technologies.
  • Design and integrate APIs using AWS services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technology standards.
  • Proactively address cybersecurity risks.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in building and maintaining Ecommerce applications.
  • Strong familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.
  • Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools.
  • Experience working with Security Engineering teams.

Benefits:

  • An estimated salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A blended base between Central London office and home.
  • Unlimited standby and premium standby fares on British Airways network and partner airlines.
  • Annual Bonus (dependent on company and individual performance).
  • Company pension of 9% (6% contribution from IAGL, 3% employee contribution).
  • 25 days annual leave, + 2 days charity leave and a day off on your birthday.
