About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wellbeing Coach to join our School Engagement Team, working with children and young people in primary, secondary, and specialist schools across Southwark.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver targeted group and 1-2-1 interventions to support young people with challenges such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, self-esteem, and self-care.
  • Develop and deliver assemblies and class workshops to raise awareness around mental health topics.
  • Facilitate training and wellbeing sessions for parents/carers and school staff.
  • Work collaboratively with schools to identify their needs and provide support to enhance their approach to mental health and wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Experience working with young people and/or in the field of mental health.
  • Confidence in planning and delivering workshops and assemblies to large groups of children and young people.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the barriers young people face when accessing support.
  • Awareness of working to safeguard children and young people, including relevant training.
